摘要

Covid-19大流行病的發展軌跡,從了解病毒本身,到開發治療方法和疫苗,都充滿了爭議。為兒童提供Covid-19疫苗注射的注射站,突顯出在應對大流行病的過程當中,對兒童和家庭的社會心理現實需求提供支持之必要性。接受Covid-19疫苗注射的兒童受益於一種融合了音樂治療和兒童醫療輔導的跨專業服務,而這項跨專業服務被證明不僅是對兒童本身,也對個別照顧者,更是對護理人員執行注射疫苗至關重要。本文介紹了心理教育介入、心理治療支持,以及包括疫苗注射過程及療程前、後的支持性介入,來支持兒童接受Covid-19疫苗注射。

John Mondanaro PhD, MT-BC, LCAT, CCLS is the Clinical Director of the Louis Armstrong Department of Music Therapy, where he oversees inpatient services and all clinical training programs. He earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Music Therapy from New York University, where he serves as an adjunct professor in the Steinhardt Departments of Music Therapy and Applied Psychology. John is licensed as a creative arts therapist in New York, and maintains dual certification in music therapy and Child Life practice. He has written and presented extensively on the arts in healthcare, and is a co-editor of the book, Music and Medicine: Integrative Models in the Treatment of Pain.  As a music psychotherapist specializing in palliative care through the lifespan, John’s training and experience across the expressive arts has culminated in a unique clinical approach that is humanistic to the core, in its valuing of body, mind, and spirit integration.
