El impacto de la musicoterapia en padres e hijos en prematuros tardíos moderados y su impacto en el medio ambiente en una unidad de cuidados intermedios neonatales española

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio es determinar si una sesión de musicoterapia en vivo mientras los padres sostienen a su bebé tuvo un efecto en los resultados fisiológicos y de comodidad de dichos prematuros tardíos-moderados, en sus padres y en el entorno de la sala. Este es un estudio cuasi-experimental de una cohorte de 44 parejas de prematuros / adultos expuestos a una sesión de musicoterapia en las primeras dos semanas después del nacimiento. Hubo 3 momentos de observación (antes, durante y después de la intervención), en los que se midieron la frecuencia cardíaca (FC), la saturación de oxígeno (O2-sat), el nivel de activación conductual-emocional del bebé y la respuesta ambiental. Se observó un aumento estadísticamente significativo en O2-sat (p <.001) después de la intervención, así como una disminución en la FC (p <.001). Se observó una disminución del estrés personal y ambiental (p <.001). Una sesión de musicoterapia en la Unidad Neonatal en el momento de la interacción entre padres e infantes prematuros resultó ser útil para reducir el estrés y promovió una interacción positiva entre padres e infantes.
