Terapia vibroacústica orientada psicoterapéuticamente en los trastornos funcionales neurológicos: un estudio piloto

Los trastornos neurológicos funcionales (TNF) afectan a un número significativo de personas en todo el mundo. Anteriormente conocido como trastorno de conversión, la TNF es un trastorno de comunicación entre la mente y el cuerpo dando lugar a experimentar síntomas neurológicos incompatibles con diagnósticos neurológicos o médicos. Los pacientes con TNF representan una parte notable de pacientes neurológicos y, sin embargo, estos pacientes todavía son considerados algunos de los más difíciles de diagnosticar y tratar. Este estudio piloto utilizó un enfoque orientado psicoterapéuticamente a la terapia vibroacústica y métodos de música activa en el proceso terapéutico de un paciente diagnosticado con TNF. El protocolo de tratamiento utilizado en este estudio destaca en enfoque interdisciplinar, multimodal y diverso enfoque de derivación y tratamiento para pacientes con TNF. La revisión de los datos cualitativos junto con los resultados cuantitavos del estudio nos proporcionó una conceptualización de este caso. Se obtuvieron perspectivas valiosas de este enfoque, y los hallazgos clínicos fueron bien respaldados gracias a la medición de los resultados cuantitativas.
